The Sanford Journal of Public Policy (SJPP) is a forum for public policy students and professionals to contribute to the current policy discourse through insightful analysis and innovative solutions. The Journal is devoted to exploring timely concerns in public policy through a diversity of perspectives and opinions. Created in 2009, SJPP is produced by graduate students at the Sanford School and is published throughout the academic year.
Our Mission:
The Sanford Journal of Public Policy is an online publication focused on exploring timely social issues and pragmatic public policy solutions. SJPP relies on students' existing and developing policy skills to generate thoughtful, productive conversations aimed at sparking helpful changes to policy issues. The Journal seeks to reflect Sanford's diverse student body with their unique perspectives and welcomes multiple viewpoints on important societal issues. As a result, the SJPP platform not only broadens our cohort's understanding of policy topics but provides students a chance to sharpen their writing skills and see their work published.
