The Sanford Journal hosts educational and social events for graduate student authors and editors.  

In hands-on workshops featuring faculty from the DeWitt Wallace Center for Media & Democracy, seasoned journalists offer tips on interviewing, note-taking and crafting compelling policy writing. 

Throughout the academic year, events include a fall kickoff gathering, a headline and haiku contest at the Sanford block party and a series of writing and editing workshops. All focused on honing skills for authors and editors.
