On Thursday, October 4, Sanford Women in Policy led a walkout to protest Brett Kavanuagh’s then nomination to the Supreme Court.
The group encouraged students to call their senators and make their feelings known. One faculty advisor pointed out that international students do not have a representative to contact. She suggested the students contact Duke President Vincent Price.
In response, a group of Sanford International students penned the following letter, and sent it to President Price’s office on Monday, October 8—two days after Kavanaugh was confirmed to the bench.
